THE PERSON BEHIND THE LENS
Hi, my name is Viviana, and welcome.
My Photography Short Story: In 2017, after 13 years of teaching, I officially said goodbye to the classroom and pursued Olympic weightlifting photography- my company was Everyday Lifters. Shortly after that, I officially launched my wedding business.
The Long Version: My sports work has taken me to places like Turkmenistan, Germany, and across the country! The weightlifters started getting married, and along the way, I received training to advocate for diverse bodies as a photographer. Hence, the no photoshopping thing when it comes to my work.
Until recently, all my work lived on one website and Instagram account. In 2023, I separated my work so they could have their own spaces.
During this time of transition and creating new spaces for all my work to flourish, I started taking documenting courses through the International Center of Photography, and I currently mentor brand-new wedding photographers.

MY APPROACH
It’s finding the interesting, the details, and pockets of light. I believe in minimalism when it comes to photography. Some flash and artistic light are used when needed, but you won’t find me bringing mega-light modifiers.
My ideal couples are looking for something different for their wedding photos. They can appreciate the formal portraits but also look forward to being with one another, dancing, and letting the day be.
